NICE TO MEET YOU,

I'M BYRON!

I’m a photographer based in Berkeley, California. The camera and lenses are my creative outlet. I’m fascinated with the color, texture captured in my photographs. Through a natural and organic look, I make my photographs speak through themselves - I want them to not only interact with your visual sense but also bring back the other senses, such as the tactile sound and refreshing scent…

I study at UC Berkeley as a fourth-year pre-dental student, majoring in Molecular & Cell Biology, Biological Chemistry. Photography is something that keeps my visual creativity flowing during my free time. I was inspired by photographers such as Mitch Lally and Jessica Kobeissi who have prevailed with their spontaneous yet natural fashion photographs. Right after high school, I worked during the summer and earned myself my first set of cameras and lens. It is always my joy to document special moments for my clients.

Out of the Ordinary and

Pursuing TImelessness

If you are curious, these are the tunes i enjoy…

I’m fascinated by the beauty of nature - its scent, sound, and color always flawlessly work together. Photographs only capture light and it is what’s so magical about it. For me, it is the art of carving photographic sculptures with light. I want them to have depth and space for you to search and dream. You may find not only what’s in the frame, but also the things that are off-frame - especially the emotions.

Appreciating the natural looks of my crafts is a direct result of my tastes in music: from Red Garland’s “But Not For Me” to Luigi Boccherini’s “String Quintets in C Major,” they are free from the industrialized production of popular music but down to the appreciation of the most original texture of sounds. I take the same approach towards crafting my photographs for you. I want them to be genuine and candid - instead of flowing cliche. I want to make them timeless.
